      Pros

Great opportunity to work with an inclusive team and hire a variety of roles across a large corporation. Great for developing a lot of experience very quickly in a multitude of industries the corporation recruits for. Competitive benefits package and lots of opportunities to grow

Great place to work if your a reporter/journalist... horrible if you're a technician

      14 Oct 2022 - Technician

      Business Outlook

      Pros

      - Get to work with cool technology. - Get to work along side brilliant technical colleagues. - Vacation purchasing is nice. - Our facility is modern and nice to work in.

      Cons

      - Little respect for the people in charge of keeping our technical systems on air. - Technicians are underpaid vs private industry. - Upper management and union have very little understanding of what the technicians do, and the challanges we face. - CBC needs to embrace MODERN work/life balances. Where are the options for 4 day work weeks? Why is work-from-home not encouraged? This corp. lives in the dinosaur ages when it comes to the modern work week.

      Pros

Great individual contributors on the P&C team as well as some managers.

      Cons

Leadership lacked focus and didn't care enough about the employee experience. The focus is more on internal politics and the union.
