    Pros

Good benefits and it's a well known company that will allow you to network and really get to know lots of people in the industry.

    Cons

Boys club. Not a great place if you're a woman. Very sexist environment and attitude from upper management. Long hours. Overly competitive internally.

    I worked at Burns & Wilcox full-time

    Pros

Great benefits, good place to start from scratch if you don’t know insurance

    Cons

Lacking in technology to compete with other wholesalers, leadership is closed minded and doesn’t understand the day-to-day operations, seemed to be a ‘headquarters’ vs ‘branch office’ management fight regularly. Changes coming from the top that didn’t make sense to the people in offices actually doing the work. Ultimately, you are more likely to make more money long term elsewhere.
