Pros
Pay is decent, if all you want is time/money and aren't worried bout a work/life balance that is the place for you.
Cons
The branch manager of the Lubbock location has little to no knowledge of what she is doing that is why turnover rate is soooo high. If you are a messenger/driver you will be over worked and will be expected to practically live there. She will expect you to work unsafe like working in the dark/late at night.

Pros
I enjoyed working with most of my coworkers and vault staff. The branch manager was a pretty good guy to work for. The job overall wasn't difficult.
Cons
There was little to no training. You would shadow a person for a day and the expectation was you would be able to do the job with no problems. I shadowed a person for 2 half days and then was sent out on my own. When I mentioned I was being set up for failure, the Corporate Overlord got defensive, didn't listen and sent me out on my own anyway. Thankfully I had amazing coworkers that gave me their phone number so I could call them for help. There was some accounts that needed a specific type of service that I was never trained on. There was also training I received for certain machines where I shadowed someone on route for the day. We had about 10 of these specific machines from different accounts that would need to be serviced in different ways. The corporate overlords again in their infinite wisdom felt that was enough training. There was no work/ life balance. There was many 6 day work weeks. You would be required to work until the route was finished. Meaning at minimum 10 hour days. There was multiple 14 hour days as well. Forget about making appointments or plans of any kind. If you do request a day off it was guaranteed to be denied due to always being understaffed. The turnover at this company is ridiculous. The company does not care about you or your safety. Everyone is replaceable in their eyes. If you tried to speak to the Corporate Overlords they will not listen and had an attitude of knowing better than you. The management team set you up for failure. Management will use the good employees for their benefit. Those good employees wouldn't be recognized for their work performance. Lastly the pay was not worth the long days or the amount of headaches caused by corporate. Not to mention the risk that is involved with this job.

It's never boring, complete chaos, but not boring. Oh, chaos with loaded pistols and low trained, idiots carrying them.
Cons
No work life balance. As far as Brinks is concerned, THEY OWN YOU.
