      Proximity to subway can't outweigh toxic management

      Pros

      The only pro is the office’s proximity to the subway.

      Cons

      The GM is a total narcissist, successfully getting out of the company for a new opportunity feels like you’ve won Hunger Games, they consistently fire people right before they’re set to retire, promotions are as likely as pigs flying. Seriously, read all the reviews from other folks here and don’t even waste your time with an interview.

      Worst place I have ever worked in my life

      There’s not a single pro outside of receiving a paycheck

      Cons

      Avoid this place at all cost. People get fired out of nowhere, massive turnover, shrinking portfolio, incompetent head office that treats the NY branch with zero respect. Really bad.

      -a few friendly co-workers who made the work day bearable

      Cons

      -bully coworker who was the manager’s pet -horrible training and high expectations to perform new tasks in a short period of time -no paid overtime even though workload would tend to run past 5 pm. Also, no teamwork atmosphere, no helping hand. -unclear responsibilities in the dept; new person is expected to know and do as much as senior members with zero training or help -have complained and discussed bullying in the dept to manager and HR which turned into victim blaming and gaslighting -never talk to HR about any issues or concerns, they will pretend like everything is FINE! They are only protecting the company.
