I worked at Baker Hughes full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good bonus pay on top of salary means it is possible after passing junior field engineer progress "exams" to double your salary offshore.

    Cons

In Aberdeen when it is busy a lot of your rotation is offshore away from friends and family.

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Baker Hughes full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The people. The coordinators are very chill and nice. They will generally work with you if you have an issue.

    Cons

Unorganized. You may be called in the day of to drive 8 hours to go to work. No clear structure. It doesn't seem like they keep track of the hard workers vs bad ones.
