I have been working at Avis Budget Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

When you hit your tiers pay can be very lucrative . 2-5000 a month comission plus hrly

    Cons

Erratic schedules , part time employees getting better schedules then you , being forced to take vacation a week at a time , at times 6 day work weeks and long hours . If you have to wait for the last flight even after closing . Ive worked pretty much every holiday in the past 4 years yet my coworkers above me get those off no matter what and weekends . Its very hard to get time off here

    Advice to Management

Increase pay , give employees more flexibility and set schedules

I have been working at Avis Budget Group for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great company, with great benefits. If you can sell can make $5000 plus a month

    Cons

If you don't or can't sell you will be discharge. Management is a very high turnover so the company is always disfuctional. Can be racist

    Advice to Management

Hire more women managers so company can be more organize.

I worked at Avis Budget Group

    Pros

Stable company with decent benefits that always pays on time. Car rental discounts. Great job for someone who is finishing college or for someone who doesn't really know what to do with their life and they just want a paycheck.

    Cons

Corporate and senior management are like a good old boys (and girls) club and it trickles down the chain of command. If you want to make money as an RSA, you better learn how to let go of your soul. LITERALLY. If you don't cheat customers or the computer system, you will not make money. The most frustrating part is seeing all those shady Rental Sales Agents make 3 - 5000 per month by cheating customers or the... computer system AND BEING REWARDED BY MANAGEMENT AND CORPORATE. Sometimes you could even see the embarrassment in the agent's faces. Because they knew how they had won the "contest", The worst part is trying to do something about it and being told by managers to let it go, even with evidence being presented. Ridiculous.

I worked at Avis Budget Group

    Pros

They were flexible when it came to days off. Other than that, the job was awful. Nothing else positive to say.

    Cons

Employees didn't cover each other, management didn't do much to support the associates, and the upper management types barely spoke or communicated whatsoever.

    Advice to Management

Get new managers and encourage teamwork
