I worked at Avis Budget Group part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Team Players + High-Energy Environment, Interesting Customers from around the world

    Cons

It's a union shop so you always get your breaks, but from clock in to clock out you better believe you have to be totally on. It's not everybody's cup of tea.

    Pros

Get to experience driving new cars and trucks. Working with the old boys.

    Cons

Management that doesn't give a dam about their workforce. Just as long as the job is done, as cheap as possible. Don't give any advice or input, it will cost you your job.

I worked at Avis Budget Group part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Lots of off-site work through driving, and constant opportunities to check out how various cars handle, if you're into that.

    Cons

Miserable pay, you're practically forced to travel in packs to deliver cars to and from Avis stores, and you have to bid for a schedule with other employees instead of simply asking for one.

I have been working at Avis Budget Group full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The pay is 21.09 but it drops when benefits are added. You get top dollar cars for 19.99

    Cons

Buses in bad shape and when you report them on the DVR its as if its not even submitted they do nothing about it. Oh and don't let them fast talk you into signing up so quick... This location will be closing shop in a few years once the AIRPORT TRAIN is completed. They failed to tell anyone this when hiring. So if you plan on getting seniority youll get that but if you want stability this is not the place. Oh if CHP does their inspections and your bus is in bad shape and management tells you to go anyways the ticket is still yours to pay for. Avis is a selfish company and they only think about what's in their best interest. Oh and if you have any issues with employees remember you're always at fault unless your a company favorite or a female. They favor the opposite sexes most. One more thing. The union takes out their dues even if u want it or not and they are useless tools they are never in the office when u need them you have to constantly leave voice mails and they might get back to you. It's like paying for an extra channel on cable that you don't even need nor use. AS I SAID SENORITY so when you come on board you'll most likely get the graveyard shift.

I have been working at Avis Budget Group part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Very organized given the size of the company. Managers have lots of experience which makes it a good experience for the other employees. No politics and not to much PC stuff. You can just be yourself.

    Cons

None so far in my experience.
