I have been working at Appirio full-time

    Pros

Good salary, very flexible. Allow you to work from home when necessary. It is growing at high speed so a lot of opportunities will arise this year's and in the ones to come.

    Cons

Nothing really bad to be honest. 2015 was not the best year for Appirio but I see they (we) are looking at what was wrongly done and trying to improve.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up guys.

I worked at Appirio for more than 2 years

    Pros

    - Good salary and good bonus structure - Incredible flexibility to work from home or anywhere in the world with little to no notice at all. This is probably the best the company has to offer. - Interesting projects, some could be really boring. - Company phone

    Cons

    - Lots of travelling. It's not impossible for someone to be 4+ weeks on site with customers, meaning weekly flights Monday to Thursday. - On top of that, you are expected to bend backwards to please customers and meet deadlines, which translates to crazy working hours. - Most people work from home so the office is like a ghost town. You won't feel that you are part of a team. - Very random promotions and career progression...

I have been working at Appirio full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Very flexible in working from home Mostly remote work with clients, so smaller amount of travel compared to other consultanting firms Work with great technology (SFDC, Apple, Google, Workday,....), great ideas (TopCoder), and great people

    Cons

Organisation and communication is somewhat lacking at times Clarity of vision and direction difficult to understand at times

    Advice to Management

Outline the vision, outline how we get closer to that vision this year, and return to that roadmap at every staff call. Clarity of purpose, simplicity of roadmap are crucially important.

I have been working at Appirio full-time for more than 6 years

    Pros

Everything was awesome, then Wipro purchased them.

    Cons

Wipro has changed this company so much that it's unrecognizable. They sold the Workday and Cornerstone practices, consolidated support roles and marketing, and now are going to stop using G suite and Salesforce. This company use to eat it's own dog food, which set it apart from the rest...those days are gone.

    Advice to Management

EAT YOUR OWN DOGFOOD AGAIN, disrupt the industry, don't fade away into Wipro.

I worked at Appirio full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

If you are the kind of person who just wants to talk rather than getting things done yourself, then this is a great place as everything is played politically. Good platform for freshers to get experience for a year or 2.

    Cons

Too much politics, favouritism, so called culture does not exist in India. People in management/managerial positions have reached there only because of their rep with India leadership and does not possess neither human skills nor technical skills. People can't even speak fluent English which includes not just Manager's but Directors of this company as well. If you make noise about anything, HR and your manager will...

I worked at Appirio full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Nothing good .If you keep your managers happy then you are eligible for promotion

    Cons

People are overworked . No salary is paid for extra work done. You would be required to work in weekend without any money

    Advice to Management

Treat people as human beings and stop over working people.

I have been working at Appirio full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Varied experiences, plenty of career growth opportunities, flexible work conditions, and a great support system.

    Cons

Pay isn't very competitive and company culture has taken a hit since Wipro acquired Appirio

    Advice to Management

A lack of competitive pay has lead to many people leaving. Appirio is a nice place to get started in the consulting world, but there doesn't seem to be much reason for people to stay after a few years.
