Great way to get some early experience at a leading pharma company. Flexible schedule and work from home.

Cons

- Minimal to no benefits - Contractors encouraged to work during holidays - Although improving, culture around celebrating good work is not present on an individual level. Results only recognized at a team level - As a contractor, company has no reason to be invested in your professional development - Recruiters will pitch a high conversion rate to permanent employees. I saw no indication that this was true for the team I was working on - Mistakes highlighted and not tolerated/utilized as learning opportunities. Consistent quality work unrecognized. - Lack of unity among adjacent teams - Disconnect between upper management and the results they hope to see and the work it actually requires at ground level to obtain results

Cons

Upper management too focused on micromanagement and non-value add work. More time spent on providing project updates than actual projects themselves. Little to no flexibility in being able to work remotely and talent management review is not performed by an independent party, leading to favoritism and biased reviews.

Salary, flexibility to work anywhere , people within your team and also other coworkers sometimes have better solutions to problems and understand poor management, so they offer advice and support - the advice I was given was to leave the toxic management and environment.

Cons

No formal training is provided, dull team environment with poor management. Some people will hover over you and complain on how much they hate working here. Very negative and toxic place to work. Not many friendly people, awful handover, upper management are weak performers that do not fully understand how to lead a team (which is why so many talented people leave) .
