Pros
Management is made up of a strong leadership team that listens, they're compassionate and encourage feedback. The company is growing rapidly and there is a lot of opportunity for advancement. They prefer to hire form within so if you are hard working and a quick learner the sky is the limit for you here.
Cons
I can't think of any.

"Good starter company if new in tech, bad long-term"

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at AbacusNext full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Company is big enough and has its fingers in enough pies that there's something for everyone, if you'd like to move around and try different tech. The Wednesday catered lunch complements of the company is nice. Can provide good opportunities when you're new to the industry, as they are frequently hiring and reorganizing. If you end up on the right side of it, it can allow a precipitous rise.
Cons
...If you end up on the wrong side of their reorganizing and frequent mass firings, you won't last long, and they'll have you out so fast that you won't even know what happened (they seem to be paranoid about employees retaliating, so they frogmarch you out of the building before you can even pack up your desk). Benefits are quite bad. Employee share of health insurance is unusually high, and the coverage is unusually low, meaning that any serious care will set you back thousands. They technically have a 401(k), but no employer match, so it's pretty much useless. The constant reorganizing and mass firings can make the work environment very stressful, as you don't know if you'll be next (or you'll keep your job but lose half your team and end up doing double the work for no extra pay). Compensation is generally subpar for the industry. The more you advance, the worse it gets, as any advancement comes with the lowest pay raise they think they can get away with, meaning you're often paid MUCH less than someone they hired from outside for the same position (and much less than other companies typically pay).

Pros
I enjoy reaching out to our clients and addressing the tech issues they are facing. Being an extrovert, I love all of the communication and relationship building involved in my job. Job security is high. My teammates are great to work with, most of them have been around for a long time and know the company and the industry inside out.
Cons
My schedule is tough. High attention to detail is needed. Organizational skills are an absolute must. Other than that, no real cons.
