I worked at ASDA full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Decent wage for retail, good colleagues, forgiving atmosphere and good policies for time off.

    Cons

Walmart want out and are cutting budgets to the bone. there is no time given for training anymore, you are thrown in the deep end. More often new starters are being given only 'seasonal' contracts, which allow you unlimited time off but are simply zero hours contracts. Under the pressure bullying has become rampant from superiors, although to their credit bullying accusations are taken seriously. Low budgets also... mean everyone is understaffed, and you are expected to be sweating every shift.

    Advice to Management

Invest more and give stores more hours to train and relieve pressure.
