Description All roads may or may not lead to it, but Röhm is German chemical powerhouse Degussa's specialty polymers subsidiary. Röhm GmbH manufactures acrylics, Plexiglas, and methyl methacrylates from its six plants and through eight subsidiaries and affiliates, which include its US subsidiary CYRO Industries. The company's customers include firms in the aerospace, construction, electronics, and pharmaceutical industries. Röhm was once part of Rohm and Haas. In mid-2005 it bought the remaining 50% of CYRO that it had not already owned from its partner in the former joint venture, Cytec, for $95 million.
