    I worked at (More than a year)


    It was a fun place to work with lots of regular socials and little treats in the office

    City centre location was perfect, and close to transport links made it ideal for me really

    They allowed me to do a bit of external training which supported my development.

    Every day was a dress down


    Pay reviews were based on how long you had been at the firm rather than workload. My entire role changed completely when I took on an entire person's role and had to do this as well as my existing role and was not compensated in any way by Laterooms. I only stayed for as long as I did after this for the experience and I was laughed at by my manager when I asked for a modest pay rise based on actual job offers I was recieving.

    Benefits used to be good under their previous owner TUI, less so under their current provider

    I was thrown into the deep end when I started and wasn't given sufficient training on my roles and had to learn a lot on my own and suffer the consequences

    A lot of unprofessional individuals at this place who were always arguementative

    Advice to Management

    Pay people market rates so that they are loyal and review them properly

    I applied online. I interviewed at (Manchester, England (UK)).


    Submitted an application online and within a week or so received a call to arrange a phone interview with the head of design. The phone interview lasted around 30 mins and was quite technical and covered my experience and why I would like to work for The interview asked me about aspects of the website and any ideas I had to improve the UI/UX. It was quite a relaxed interview and enjoyable but also got you thinking. Ultimately I wasn't a fit for the company as they were looking for somebody more experienced.
