Michael O’Leary – Chief Executive
Forever sharing knowledge and pushing for innovative ideas our CEO likes to think outside the box and has led HRM’s success over the past 25 years. Heavily involved in all aspects of the business he is at his happiest when out working with clients. If you happen to spot a large black motorbike outside our Dublin office, that’s his! Mindfulness for Michael is escaping into a helmet and on to the bike.
Paul O’Donnell – Operations Director
Paul is the mastermind behind our operations here at HRM. So he spends much of his time on the road between our Dublin, Cork and Galway offices. He spends his time working closely with each of our recruitment teams to develop great services and solutions that ensure our success. Unwinding at the weekends for Paul is spending quality time with his family, playing football or hurling with his kids in South Galway, where he lives. He also loves a spot of carpentry whenever he gets the opportunity.
Joanne Lanigan – Director – HR & Executive Search
Client experience is at the heart of all Joanne does in HRM. In addition to leading our national HR selection group, Joanne is responsible for customer growth strategies, helping all our selection teams to build added value in to all our customer experiences. With two young kids, Joanne enjoys whisking them away to the family holiday home in the West of Ireland for sun (or rain) on the beach.
Sarah Good – Associate Director – Marketing
A junior international athlete, Sarah now runs to keep fit and braves the city centre on her bike to get to work every day. Leading our Marketing Selection team in HRM, Sarah has developed lasting relations with her clients over the past ten years. Knowing exactly what they want and where to get it and still manages to squeeze this all into a four-day week. As busy as this sounds, Sarah has her hands even more full at the weekend with her one year old boy ruling the house.

I worked at HRM full-time (More than 3 years)
Fun, dynamic, exciting, fast paced, high touch environment where you will learn not only about recruitment but about business in general very quickly. During my time in HRM I worked with the most energetic, enthusiastic, eager & slightly crazy (but in a good way) team I've ever had the pleasure to work with. It's an intense industry but HRM & Michael O'Leary have a wealth of knowledge & genuinely care about their employees.
Maybe I have rose-tinted glasses but I can't think of any right now.
Advice to Management
Keep the connection to employees it's what's important.
I applied online. I interviewed at HRM (Galway) in March 2018.
I had 2 phone interviews followed by 2 face to face interviews.
I found internal recruitment and the managers I met with to be really professional.
Relatively quick process too, all took place over a week and a half.
