InterviewThe WORST hiring process ever. By the time you finish reading my feedback, you would realise that Worst is an understatement. An interview process that began in July with the last rounds completed in second week of August followed by a long wait for compensation which did not sound reasonable. The HR reached out again with a revised offer after two weeks which I agreed to in detail with discussion around the expected joining date which led to me putting down my papers. When I reached out to the HR on Sep 1st , his first response was , why did you resign?? Asked him what does he mean to which he said that you should have waited for the offer letter, however , nothing to worry since the offer letter would be shared in the next three days as he is working on it. For the next three weeks, I kept following up wherein the HR kept saying that he is waiting for an approval from the CFO on the compensation. There were times when he called and said “ I have a good news for you since you will get your offer letter after two days”. Only last week , when I reached out to him , his response was “Let’s see if the decision from the leadership is good , bad or ugly “ and when I asked him what does he mean , his response was that they are planning to scrap the position which means that he was lying all this while. When I confronted him , his response , I never forced you to resign. My further probing made him uncomfortable and he realised he has messed it up big time. He followed it with a response “ I am trying my best” .
