    Pros

    Very energetic company.
The Academy team is the best of the best, with awesome managers and team members.
You are in for a lot of growth and room for ideas.
The company is on a good path.

    Cons

Starting salary was mediocre, but you could try to earn a raise. (ref: 2017)
Not technically a con, but to point out that the average age of employees is on the older spectrum, 40+ (the Academy members are younger).

    Advice to Management

Give valuable team members who deserve it, a decent raise before they ask for it, they'll stop a bullet for you!

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at BlueCielo ECM (Hoofddorp (Netherlands)) in June 2017.

    Interview

Multi-stage process, including couple of screening interviews and technical interviews which where quite positive. In total I talked to 6 people from the company within 7 interviews, 5 of which were in their office in Hoofddorp. On the technical interview I had to provide an system architecture for a simple business case having future scalability in mind. This was done in the form of discussion. Other interviews had mostly screening and my background discussion kind and they also were quite positive and promising.

Unfortunately, on the very final stages after all the interviews were told by the them to be successful and when references where requested, I suddenly knew that they decided not to proceed with me. I knew this in a week after explicitly asking a recruiter who served as intermediary between me and company. He told that no reasons were specified by the company. Who knows how long I could have waited if I didn't ask.

That's it. Hours of spent time. All stages passed and assured to be successful. Changed their mind at the very last moment silently without even bothering to inform me about it and a reason. If such disrespect to your time is observed during hiring process, you can't expect it would be any better after you become an employee.

That spoiled my impression after a series of very positive interviews with very nice people there.
