Young colleagues that support each other
Pay is too low. They are getting double the amount for every staff member hired from their contractors. Expectations are too high for minimum wage. Staff morale is very low. No appreciation from management. No motivation. Very badly run. It’s a pity. Training provided is horrendous. Team leaders are frustrated and not able to keep up with their role. More than likely because they are inexperienced and dumped into the deep end.
Advice to Management
Management should be more experienced and paid more.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Abtran (Cork) in October 2017.
Interview was quite easy. Interviewed by 1 team leader and 1 Morgan McKinley recruiter. Took about half an hour. Competency based questions. Got job offer straight after. Started work week after interview.
We're both humbled and honoured to have taken away the Multinational of The Year Award at the it@cork Leaders Awards 2017 on Friday. Congratulations to all involved and thanks for a great event!
Last Friday some of our fearless Team Leaders took a pie in the face for Cheshire Children's Home charity. Delicious fun was had all round! :)
