Responsibilities for Inventory Manager
- Maintain accurate inventory of supply and products
- Supervise and mentor staff
- Hire, train and provide development opportunities for staff
- Develop inventory staff schedule
- Investigate and resolve inconsistencies with inventory
- Ensure a safe working environment
- Make recommendations to leadership about improvements in inventory life cycle
- Minimize inventory loss by incorporating best supply chain practices
Qualifications for Inventory Manager
- Associate's degree in business or related field, required
- 5+ years of experience in an inventory role
- CPIM certification, preferred
- Experience training, coaching, and mentoring
- Able to use a computer and other office technology
- Knowledgeable of inventory software
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to stand and bend for long periods of time in a warehouse environment
- Good communication skills
