I provided a non-technical book on how refineries function and Cameron Hydraulic Handbook and quized him regularly for several months. In addition, I encouraged other, older subordinates to quiz him and tutor him on various aspects of our project work. In part, this was to introduce him to the team, in part, it was to give them confidence that he could do the job.
