The interviewer himself came across as a bit of a con artist. I have never met anyone else in the non-profit sector like him. The attitude of the interviewer, who was the executive director at the time, was off. He gave me the impression that he was running something like a bucket shop. Though generally in Canada a foundation would be a registered charity and give donors tax deductible receipts, this foundation, though supposedly active in Canada, only gives tax receipts from its parent foundation, which is an American charity.
