Again not selling yourself. Make your answers sound more enthusiastic about the job. How did you hear about us? I've seen your adds on TV, billboards, In magazines at the Dr 's office. Freestyle Cruising right? I started to wonder more about your company. Then I saw your post on (job board name here) and I got excited. This is my chance I thought. I could get my foot in the door and make a career change. I've always wondered what it would be like working for a company as well known as yours. I think that the travel and tourism industry is a perfect place to go for a career change. Less

With that answer you might have just killed two birds with one stone. Her next question would be, why do you want to work for us? You hardly tried to sell yourself with this answer. Interviewers hear that all the time. The poor girl was probably bored to death. Everybody knows NCLA is a prestigious company in a great field. You need to bring something unique to the table. You need to take control of the interview. You need to become likeable and you only have 90 seconds to do it. So tell a story with an anecdote, but be realistic and don't lie. They know when you are lying, they have been trained to be human lie detectors. Let's try that again. Why do you wan to work for us? I feel I will fit in perfectly with your crew. I'm friendly easy going, always ready to do my best and help where I can. I had a job that I miss. We weren't like family, we WERE a family. They were sad to see me go too. Unfortunately, I was ready for a career change at that time and needed to move forward. So, sadly I left the organization and started my own business. BOOOM! That is an interview answer. Not... I want to work for you because your a good company. that's like spitting back the question at her. You are basically saying.. I want to work for you because I want to work for you. Get real.. pep up a little go big or go home. Less
