I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at beqom (Redmond, WA) in Oct 2016
Interview
Incredibly frustrated with the experience. Don't waste your time.
I was first contacted by an in-house recruiter about a software engineer position. They had found my resume on Indeed.
The recruiter asked for my current salary and expectations - which I provided immediately and there was no objection. We then moved onto the first interview (Skype call with 3 engineers) it was pretty easy.
Afterwards the recruiter told me that I had received good feedback and we would be proceeding to the next stage interview. Then they stalled for a few days and came back and told me my salary expectations were too high. The best they could offer would be a 20k per year paycut from my current salary.
What a giant waste of time for everyone involved. Why bother interviewing me if you can't meet salary expectations?
