Many questions involved my level of experience and what my day-to-day looked like at my former company.

I just talked about my experience. There aren’t really any trick questions. The only question which was difficult to answer was when J asked me to pick the “type” of journalist that described me best. It was hard to choose one because each description involved elements of journalism one should have with every story. If I remember correctly the choices includes: Storyteller Advocate Whistleblower Breaking News Informational … pretty sure there was one or two more. Less

My interview was fairly easy, however I know the news hires now must pass a rigorous news exam designed by news chief, Matt Winkler. If you don't pass, you don't get an offer.

It was a breeze. Again, we have a different ND now. It was seven years ago.
