A recruiter from Zillow reviewed my application (submitted via Linkedin) and setup an HR screen. She was very direct, explaining the job, the compensation, and that I may not be an ideal fit. I appreciated the honesty. I was later setup on a call with the hiring manager and although the job sounded really exciting, the recruiter was right, and I was not a fit for what the team was looking for. Everyone was professional, easy to talk to, and very responsive.
