I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ZS Associates in Oct 2012
Interview
2 rounds of interview were conducted. In R1, there was a behavioral interview and a case interview on the phone. R2 was in person and had 5 interactions including behavior, presentation, structure case, open ended case and wrap up discussion. The process seemed fairly defined and interviewers were very comfortable as if this was the norm

Question 1
What if I gave you 50 million dollars to open a restaurant?
Phone screening > 2 case study interviews + personality/fit/general interview > offer. There was 3 month gap between phone screening and getting offered the first interview which was not the most ideal.

Question 1
Typical case study questions that you will be asked in consulting interviews. There was a qualitative case with one interviewer and a quantitative case (with graphs/figures) with another interviewer.
There are three interviews in 1 day -- 1 behavioral, 1 unstructured case, 1 structured case. There are 3 different interviewers per interview, where you will engage with a few managers, consultants, and associate principals

Question 1
Tell me a time where you were stressed / overwhelmed and how did you handle it, in a team environment?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at ZS Associates
Interview
Very pleasant and straight forward. Consisted of 2 rounds - the first one being one case, and the second being two case interviews and one behavioral. You have about a week notice between rounds, which gives time to prep. There are also practice cases online that help a lot!
