First a telephonic round took place in which i was asked about webservices flow and all, no technical questions were asked, only description of the work and how validation happens in your project.
Then I was called for face to face round, in that the questions asked were not for a java developer role, but for a dev ops person role. How are you deploying to higher lifecycles, explain with proper diagrams, how caching is being done in your project, how docker image is being used, which cloud you use.
In short no java technical questions were asked, to a java developer if you ask dev ops processes and then say please have knowledge of all processes in your project is not correct.
They should have judged this on telephonic only, why to call a person for F2F and their and ur time.
Please first ask java questions to a java developer and then go for theses dev ops questions, because a java develper is not working on dev ops part in mNCs, we have different team for dev ops and if you want a dev ops person then clearly mention it.
