I sat down with one of the managers and answered some basic questions about past experiences I’ve had and how I dealt with them. I had just graduated high school and I talked about school projects and sports teams I participated in. Got an offer right after.

First a phone interview, then an in-person interview. Most questions are behavioral in nature -- they want to see that you're a team player, that you're friendly and that you can listen to instructions well. Having a lot of availability helps too.

The interviewer adapted to the particular interviewee, and the interviewer was very kind and helpful. The questions were mostly about leadership and teamwork experiences. Wegmans is flexible with student schedules, and I immediately felt a warm welcome.
