Both stages were well organised and the interview itself was a positive experience. However, the follow-up process was disappointing. I was given a clear timeline for feedback, which passed without any communication. After reaching out to HR, I was informed they were still aligning with the interview panel and would follow up shortly, also mentioning potential alternative opportunities. Two months after the interview, I received a generic rejection email with no reference to the interview or any personalised feedback. It felt more like a standard CV rejection rather than a response to someone who had progressed through multiple stages. Overall, the lack of timely communication and feedback made for a poor candidate experience. Candidates invest significant time preparing for interviews, and timely, respectful communication should reflect that. A prompt update, even if negative, would have been far preferable to a delayed and impersonal response. There also appears to be a disconnect between active hiring and candidate communication, as roles continue to be advertised while candidates are left waiting for updates.
