I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon in Jun 2012
Interview
I applied for the position online. Heard back from HR Recruiter to set up phone interview for the following week. The phone interview consisted of questions confirming job history and going over some of the job description. She then some pretty standard interview questions like how to deal with upset customers. She scheduled me to take the skills test the next day. Then I was set up for another HR phone interview a few days later. After the phone interview I had a face to face interview with the hiring manager.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Verizon (Cincinnati, OH) in May 2026
Interview
The interview was conducted virtually. It was for the customer service position. Mostly I was questioned about how I would handle various scenarios, for assisting clients. I was asked some real world examples and asked to handle them.

Question 1
How would you handle an angry or disgruntled customer?
Lengthy and the paperwork is extremely confusing to fill out and submit. Thank you. But other than that really nice people. They hire through a 3rd party called Rose International…. Very helpful people
Unprofessional interview, and unfair. Being bilingual and many years of customer service experience they decided to pass due to many years of experience. The interviewer also looked unorganized and was bias.
