Applied online and immediately heard from them within a couple of days. Was scheduled for a 15-20 minute introductory call to assess fit and then a 2 hour assessment following that.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Uber (San Francisco, CA)

Lots of technical evaluations both over the phone, in person, and at home. Be prepared to show problem solving skills and ask good questions. Overall the interview is pretty easy, just be ready to negotiate the life out of your salary because Uber underpays.

I started Uber applications process two last week, spoke with an HR for a basic phone screening, then completed the analytical tests on the 19th of Oct. The tests were exactly the same as many described here, but one needs to practice and brush up the speed.
I called HR on the 23 Oct. to ask what's the outcome as I did not receive anything from them for a week. Not rejection nor instructions of next steps. I was informed that they are still interviewing more candidates, and will send out emails this week. It is Thursday today (29th Oct) and still got nothing ....
Is this their way of saying no?? Is there someone else having the same experience?
