US Department of Veterans Affairs Veteran Service Representative Interview Questions

Interview with a panel of 2 to 4 people. On teams or will be a phone call. Then will find out if hired in USAJobs.gov. then must accept and do inprocessing steps.

Extremely straightforward. The majority of the questions asked were situational based. This job requires you pay attention to detail. The interview may last about twenty minutes. It is best to just give a honest answer.

I applied on USAJobs. After roughly a month of waiting, I was referred. A month after that, I received an email to set up an interview. It was a 30-minute interview by phone (4 questions). After the interview, you have two hours to answer two questions (writing sample).

Applied on usajobs.gov after working for VA for 1.5 years at education call center. Received email a few days after closing date that I was referred for interview, emailed interview details a few days later. Interviewed by 2 individuals and then given an hour to complete a written assessment to determine my writing style and how well I convey my thoughts. Offered job the following week.

The interview and hiring process consisted of an interview with one supervisor. This was a direct hiring event open to just 200 applicants. The interviewer asked several questions. The questions were not that difficult.

You come in and there is a panel of three. The HR person introduces herself to me and to the panel. Then the questions begin. Each panel member asked two questions pertaining to the job I applied for. At the conclusion the HR asked if I had any question, concerns etc; I had a small list of my own qiestion. HR answered and informed me I would get a letter.

it took about 4 weeks to get a call from the VA. Interview lasted 30 minutes and afterwards took a 30 minute written assessment. The written assignment was easy and just follow direction on a scenario based question. it lasted 20 minutes to complete.

30 minutes. They asks typical questions about your prior work experience. Why do you want to work here? Read up on ICARE VA values. A few basic math questions. Pretty easy interview.

They asked me about six questions and then I needed to answer a math question and write a two paragraph paper. It was pretty relaxed and if you have great experience you should get an offer.
