US Department of Veterans Affairs Internship Interview Questions

Interview process was fairly simple. I interviewed for a legal intern position with Office of General Counsel. Interviewed over the phone for about 30 minutes with two interviewers who asked questions and told me more about the internship position.

Phone interview due to Covid. Was told it was going to be video and then it was a phone call so prep would have been different. Was also told there was a position and was revoked due to covid.

I do not wish to leave this review but Glassdoor requires it. It was a panel interview and everyone was friendly. There were a few open ended questions about being a good fit, etc.

A brief get to know you, followed by what is expected from you every day. Who you would be working with, where to start the process of getting your background check and TB shots.

They went to my university in a job fair, they kept my CV and later call me. The process was really straightforward. However, they didn't have an exact idea of the role that I would do, so when I started my internship I have like a week doing nothing because they don't even have a computer for me

Very basic questions regarding my experience and education. The supervisor explained to me the office's organization, protocols and objectives. It is very important for this office that you are a bilingual person.
