I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Trooh (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2025
Interview
I was contacted by Trooh's HR department which led to an initial meeting with HR and the VP of Client Partnerships.
Although I wasn't invited to move forward, I was very impressed with the process - all parties were extremely professional and friendly with the conversation being closely connected with the opportunity/what the team was looking for. Upon asking for it, they even gave me feedback - something that seems to be very rare these days and was very much appreciated.
I will be on the lookout for future opportunities at Trooh based on the interview experience.

Interview
They kick it off with a 30 minute intro call and a live technical assessment for SQL / Excel, but if they don't like your work, they provide no feedback and will completely ghost you as they did me. I even followed up with them a week later as I was interested in working here, and they just completely ghosted me.

Question 1
Q: "How would you deal with a delayed delivery that is time sensitive?"
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Trooh
Interview
Interview with TL (great), followed by a formal presentation & informal chat with CXO (not great). The latter person seemed unprepared to interview me and generally uninterested in my background. Their answers to my inquiries about long-term growth goals, workplace culture and daily responsibilities also came across both evasive and defensive, which left a bad taste.
I received a generic rejection note about 3 weeks later.
