I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tim Hortons (Berwick, NS) in Feb 2008
Interview
I applied online, was called for a phone interview about a week later, and then another phone interview about two days later. I was then granted a in person interview at my local store and was hired via phone the next day.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions were very basic. They seemed more concerned about whether I have a bad record or have stolen money from a till in the past than my working ability.
It was a very easy process. In general, it was a lot of behavioral questions which made the interview feel very stress free. I personally felt that it was more like a conversation which made it very easy to sit through and answer.
Good. they asked good questions. for example. Why would you like to work here. what do you like about tim hortons. do you like our coffee. do you know what a double double is.
It was a pretty relaxed and straightforward interview. The interviewer mainly asked about my past work experience, customer service skills, and availability. They also explained the job responsibilities and what a typical shift would look like.
