I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters (New York, NY) in Jul 2014
Interview
Interviews with several members of the group. They expect high level of familiarity with what the company is all about so highly suggest reviewing the website if possible beforehand and reading about company philosophy to legal business. Once through that, it was followed by writing test and the final step was a background check. The writing test involves being given about a week to submit a short version of one of their resources on a topic they provide.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters (Manila, Manila) in Oct 2025
Interview
The interview process was smooth, professional and well coordinated. It started with an initial screening from the Talent Acquisition Team, where they asked about my background, experience and motivation for applying. The next step was an interview with the hiring manager, which focused more on my working experience, skills and how they relate to the role.
Questions were straightforward such as how I handled deadlines, deal with challenges, and manage communication in a hybrid setup. The atmosphere was friendly and conversational rather than intimidating.
After the interview, I received a prompt from HR, followed by instructions for pre-boarding discussions and background check.
