Interview process felt like i was being gaslit into wanting a position where I would be doing QA work that hadn’t been done since 1828, there was going to be no budget for training or any potential help for at least a year if i were to work there. The dev who helped to interview me couldn’t answer any QA questions I had so if offered the position i would have been walking in blind. I commuted to the office twice to have a chat with them and each time left feeling like the position was an actual joke role especially with the fact that they didn’t want to pay the price for a QA to build their testing system.
