Very laid back interview process with an introduction at first into what my position would be. There were mostly behavioral questions. The interviewer made me feel comfortable and it was overall a good experience.

Interview
I set up a phone interview and they asked basic questions. It took 2 or 3 weeks to hear back about the job which was a bit frustrating. Only offered California minimum wage but health insurance was included. They basically just ran through the requirements of the job, asking about each.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at The Great Basin Institute in Mar 2017
Interview
After applying online, I received a call three days later from the director, Jerry Keir. He mostly just went over the position's duties and how I would be a good fit for it. This wasn't a traditional interview and he barely asked me any questions about my abilities. At the end of the call, he offered me the position. This was a new project, which is why the executive director called me, but nonetheless weird for a field-based position.
