I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Connor Group (Nashville, TN) in Jun 2020
Interview
The interview process is structured and consists of 4 interviews. You can expect to go through 2 phone interviews, a zoom interview and most likely an in person interview. I made it to the third one, the zoom interview, then they let me know they were moving in a different direction.
The interviews were typical and not very hard. The first one is very conversational and mostly geared towards who you are as a person. The second one is more of a strengths test with rapid fire questions. The third one is, again, conversational with a senior recruiter. This one will be more numbers driven and specific to your past experience.
The Connor Group reached out to me, I didn’t apply directly. The whole process took almost two weeks. A little dragged out but seemed very worth it to work for a company like this. I would definitely seek another job with them.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at The Connor Group (Austin, TX) in Apr 2025
Interview
I was reached out by a recruiter through LinkedIn and she seemed so excited wanting to connect with me, and as I was looking through the job description and about the company, and it seemed interesting, so I gave it a shot and scheduled the initial phone interview with the recruiter. The day comes and the recruiter calls me and we had our very basic interview questions, which I thought went pretty well. She seemed like a sweetheart and was very optimistic about my interview. She then tells me that she'll get with the hiring manager and she'll let me know what the next steps are in 24-48 hours, so it won't be till Friday (the phone interview was on Wednesday). I was very much looking forward to an email or whatever from the recruiter because she told me she would get back to me, and we all know that a lot of companies nowadays, they just ghost you, so when they tell you they'll get back to you, it's a relief, at least. As Friday passes and then a whole week has passed already at this point, I never got any news from the recruiter, I even tried emailing her and no response. It's very upsetting and disappointing because I really had my hopes up and I was really looking forward to the next steps in the interview process, but unfortunately, most companies nowadays, just ghost you instead of writing a rejection letter to you, how disappointing.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Connor Group (Cincinnati, OH) in Jul 2024
Interview
I went through several rounds of interviewing. At first it felt more like a conversation where I was able to address questions that I had as well. In later interviews I had a 30 minute call where I answered all of their questions. After 3 rounds of interviews, I never heard from them again. However, one of their recruiters contacted me twice on linkedin to hire me for the same position that I had already interviewed for. I very kindly told her about my experience where they had ghosted me in the interviewing process. The recruiter viewed my message and gave no response. I liked the people that I interviewed with, they were very friendly and the process wasn't stressful, but I didn't hear from them in any capacity after weeks of interviewing.
