      Interview

      I had a very positive experience interviewing with Tembo health. I had a screener call and then two interviews via Zoom. Everyone was friendly, accommodating and easy to speak to. In the end, I did not receive an offer, but I was very happy to have someone call me and tell me rather than just receive a rejection email. It felt more personal and showed how much they cared. Really happy with this interview experience!

      The interview process consisted of a screener and three separate interview with various department leads. Everyone was easy going for the most part. The COO on the other hand was not relatable during the screener. I have yet to be notified about the status of my candidacy after 3+ weeks. Start-ups push this notion of wanting to be more efficient than the larger institutions but many of them are just as worse. The communication with this particular company is very poor and I’m convinced they probably have a poor work culture. Note to Tembo: do not waste people’s time if you are not ready to hire! Keep the line of communication open to build trust with candidates and potential hires.
