Was sent a survey on what I used in the past and my activity in the Open Source community. It's quite long but it makes sense they want those info.
I was then invited to a call with the founder. Here i got the first red flag:
- one single email was sent to multiple people.
- the second red flag was the first (and last) meeting. I met with the CTO that had no idea of the position for which I applied (why then you make people spend time filling a long survey)? After this question I was told that they had changed their mind and that they were looking only for a Software Engineer and that, as a consequence, If I wasn't interested in that they shouldn't loose time.
While I would have been ok for a more SWE oriented position I understood that this wasn't probably the best place to work at.
