Sony Internship interview questions

It was amazing because it was sublime. I only wish I could have stayed but they did not choose me but the people where amazing.The people I met I will never forget because they where so nice and accomodating and the vibe was so nice and cosy.

HR interviews concentrate on research. First, ask about the willingness, then the time slot availability—and finally, based on your introduction to the research, they dive into your research and ask questions you can expect at an academic conference.

Discussed my research and project, follow up technical questions regarding my projects. Background questions like the reason choosing Sony and what is my plan after graduation. Finally, they introduced the working contents in the team.

First apply online and upload your resume. Then I received an invitation to interview. The interview focused on my experience and insights into the field I was applying for, as well as my motivation., there were not many technical questions. Within two weeks of applying, I got a rejection.

Accepted through website, phone call and then first round with manager , they didn't requested technical test from me i don't know if it's always like this. i talked about my experiences and projects got accepted.

It was nice and easy. the asked questions related to what I learned in college. And then the negotiation of salary and workly rates. Then there is a tour around the office for you to get associated with the work culture and fellow employees.

Background question, coding and resume deep dive. Very standard questions and nice experiences. Basically, you should be familiar with the projects and relevant knowledge on you resume. The interview would be 3-rounds technical and a HR one.

Applied on their web portal, had an online assessment with math/logic tests and then lastly, an interview with one of the engineering managers. Hard part was navigating the Japanese website and the online assessment was quite long.

Pretty basic interview, consisting of a phone and an in-person follow-up interview. In person interview consisted of multiple people, which was a bit more difficult, but overall a good experience.
