The company has great ambitions and values and seems to be growing at a very fast pace.
I was asked to fill forms, do a 30 minute test and then roughly an hour long interview.
I found the interview to be a little impersonal, no “tell us about yourself, your background ...” just jumped into *only* situational questions.
The role was advertised as a po
Reject accounting role but it was later cleared up during the interview that there wouldn’t be any project work in this role.
I didn’t hear for over 2 weeks after so I got in touch to follow up.
I was then told that I wasn’t successful for the role because I had missed/skipped a question on the test and I didn’t have charity experience.
With that in mind I would have thought that my CV and cover letters were thoroughly read in advance as this all states what my background is... and if the test could have been taken prior to scheduling an interview.
I am just rating this experience as negative because if the above experience/test are the two decision making factors in the successful candidate the interview part could have been skipped so that we don’t have to prepare for and take an hour long interview during working hours.
Hopefully this can be taken into account during next interview processes.
