      Recruiter Interview

      22 Oct 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Venice, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Snap (Venice, CA) in Sept 2016

      Interview

I went through 2 phone screens and an onsite. Total time from start to finish 3.5 months. Overall very poor candidate experience. The first screen, the recruiter seemed disengaged and seemed as though he wanted to get off the phone did not seem to know what he was recruiting for and wasn't able to provide me with a job description. 4 weeks later I received an email from him, wanting to put me in touch with another recruiter. This conversation flowed well, and the recruiter invited me onsite, letting me know that there was a sense of urgency to fill and that I needed to get in right away. Due to travel commitments with my current job, I had to push back, and was told they were not flexible again due to the need to fill. So I flew from coast to coast to make it work. In all I didn't get a good sense or feel connected to anyone I spoke with and likely it reflected on my end in the interview. A lot of the question were subjective, one of questions that threw me off dealt with political correctness. One of my interviewers was extremely arrogant and none of the interviewers new what I was being considered for. BEWARE, my assumption leads me to believe that they have "blind interviews'. I was supposed to meet with the VP of Talent and a recruiting lead towards the end of the interview, and last minute they dropped. So that was my cue that the interview was not going well. Half of my interview panel were pretty green no more than 3 months. I was told I would here results within a week as they debrief once a week. 2 weeks later I checked in, and no decision had been made. 4 weeks later I check in and the recruiter apologizes as the hiring manager was supposed to call me and deliver a turn down. In all I've accepted the decision, as it wasn't my best interview, but a total of 3.5 months to get through recruitment process, and having to follow up to be rejected is bs.

      Interview

The process took 3 weeks, 2 phone screens, then remote onsite for 3 hours. Recruiter seemed extremely stressed out, and that should have sent me running. Didn't share feedback on why they are not moving forward

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Snap in Jan 2022

      Interview

Tony Riggins was my Recruiter for R4R. He knew the company and benefits inside and out. The process from first phone screen to offer took 2 weeks! He was efficient, responsive, and made himself available to answer all my questions. It was three rounds total. 1 recruiter screen, 1 HM phone call, 1 3-hour virtual on-site. I received the offer within two days from on-site. The whole team was great. I appreciate that the process moved quickly, and Tony knew his stuff and is experienced.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They ask questions about their values, because it’s very important to the company. The rest were typical questions about my experience and workflow and volume.
