I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Signet Jewelers (York, PA) in Nov 2011
Interview
It was your typical process, particularly for jewelry sales. Paper application available (a rarity these days), after their review of said application they contacted former employers/references, background and credit checks are performed (you will have this in any jewelry establishment that sells high dollar merchandise). Interview was conducted on a bench in the middle of the mall (not the most professional of places), which can have the possibility of a multitude of distractions from passerby.
The interview process is very simple and job seeker friendly. All one has to do is apply online and then meet with the managers (both General store and Assistant manager). Don't call them, they will call you.

Interview
Easy! Mostly about sales experience and goals. What I’d like to see in the next months. What my past retail experience was and any experiences that would make me stand out.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Signet Jewelers in Apr 2016
Interview
Interview was meant to last 1 hour, however it went over by half an hour. Was sat down and asked many competency based questions that was based on skills and different situations that I have faced. The interviewer knew that i would not have as many skills that other candidates would have due to my young age, so answering some questions were difficult due to lack of experience. Interview also included role play of selling an item to a customer that is suited to their needs.
