The interview consisted of a screen and take home project, which they projected to take roughly 10 hours! I consider myself a very diligent developer and never one to back away from a challenge, so I completed the project (Yep, took about 10 hours) according to spec and in their specified framework, which I consider myself to have high proficiency in. This was enough to warrant an onsite…. and this is where I step in and warn you, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. After the onsite they went full blown no-contact, even to any follow up inquiries. This sort of behavior is not only unacceptable in corporate culture, but to real life as well — You do NOT straight up ghost somebody after when they have put more than 10 hours of effort into you. I mean, maybe after a phone screen I can possibly understand, but I am glad I dodged a bullet on Barracuda showing their true character early.
