I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ServiceNow (San Diego, CA) in Dec 2019
Interview
I applied online for the Systems Software Engineer internship position. Within a month, I got an interview invite.
Process:
One round of technical interview with 3 Engineers from the team. They are really kind people who would love talking with you. They are just looking for the knowledge that you have, rather than test you on some fixed set of questions. However, experience in whatever is required from the job description helps.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. Discuss everything in your resume and their corresponding learning outcomes - They are really looking for whether you learnt everything you say you know.
2. Question on finding the output of an exception handling code.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at ServiceNow (San Diego, CA)
Interview
Recruiter Call and then Technical interview with 3 software engineers. They worked with you as you solved the problem. There are no test cases, it is like a system design problem.
Pretty straightforward, had to follow up with the recruiter a few times though as they are a little slow but the final interview was 3 back-to-back interviews, one behavioral, one technical behavioral where they asked a super simple programming loops question, and one hiring manager.

Question 1
Standard behavioral questions (use STAR format and you'll be good)
My First round was a Recruiter Interview where I was asked a couple of behavioral questions. The second/ final round was a coding interview with a panel of 3 engineers.
