Two phone screens: one coding, one discussion
One site had five interviews: discussion/coding, lunch, coding, design, and more coding.
Process was very comfortable. I was allowed to use my laptop instead of the whiteboard for any coding interview. One of the coding sessions was quite interesting. We hacked together a web server using a web framework neither of us have used in a long time. I think it conveyed a realistic sense of what its like for me to learn a new technology. Other focuses in discussions were around development philosophy. I've done several interviews at several big name companies and this was by far more practical of an interview. Great experience overall.
