Sainsbury’s Interview Questions

Very easy. If you make it to the interview stage you technically have the job unless you don’t have the essential requirements which is rare (i was forced to write this by glassdoor).

I was sat down in an office and ask a series of questions based on my people skills and how I would handle different situations before being given a chance to ask any other questions I have.

Online test and if selected Interview with dept manager. They ask competent questions I.e team work, adaptability, problem solving. Also talk about Sainsburys core values and how it matches your profile.

It was a good interview process for a new store opening. Not very long but it was a group interview with solo interviews. The hiring manager was very friendly and I felt very at ease.

Fairly easy, standard interview questions. No suprises. Two managers attended the interview, both fairly friendly and not intimidating. Lasted around 30 minutes. One manager asked questions, the other listened and took note

Was standard telephone interview, then a teams call where I was asked basic questions such as team work and why I wanted to work for Sainsbury’s and previous experiences. Really quick got phone call next day

The whole interview was quite relaxed, the manager asked about my previous experiences and how I would respond in various situations. They also askee me about what hours I could work.

All first of all, the Sainsburys company worker who works at the sainsburys local which is a company stared into my beatiful eyes for a minimum of ten seconds. Thanks very much

There were no complex questions, so there is little to worry about. It was simply about rights to work/ earliest time you can start. It's key to note this was for a night shift so they were understaffed

Informal face to face interview with store manager. Involved visiting store I had applied to and answering questions surrounding my CV. Lasted 30 minutes and I was contacted the following week.
