Interview
2 interviews, first one with the hiring manager, technical coding interview some simple questions about syntax of cpp. The second one was a panel interview with two engineers on the team. I presented one sample of my work and they asked me questions.
First had a recruiter screen discussing fit and previous experiences. Had a behavioral round with the hiring manager, then 2 technicals, one coding and one conceptual. (both techincals were relevant to the team I was applying for)
One 30 behavior and then 1 technical. Technical was split into a project presentation and a very doable python question. The interviewers were kind and the company seemed to have a good work culture.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Rivian (California, MD) in Jan 2025
Interview
I had a decent interview with a relaxed manager, but unfortunately, I didn’t receive an offer. I wish I had taken more time to prepare for it effectively.I did apply through linkedin.
