First interview was with the manager I would be working for. This was more-or-less softball, and we covered some of the position's responsibilities and my qualifications. The manager also checked to make sure I had a critical hard skill (in this case, foreign language comprehension) for the position. A few weeks later I received a written task which was similar to the kind of work which would be expected from an employee in this position. I had two days to turn this around. After the written assessment, I had another interview with a second manager. Again, we discussed my qualifications, the position's responsibilities and also touched on my performance on the written assessment. He let me know both he and the other manager would recommend me for hire. Later that day, I had a conversation with the recruiter responsible for filling this position. We discussed compensation and start dates before she told me she would begin work on getting my package approved. I received an offer later that week. All in all, this was probably the most pain-free interview experience I've ever had. Recorded Future is clearly forward-thinking with its hiring practices and I look forward to joining their team.
